Editions: The first edition (stated) was published by Doubleday & Company, Inc., Garden City, New York (1971), in hardback with a dust jacket. A paperback edition was published by Florida Classics Library, Port Salerno, Florida (1986) and included an inserted pamphlet entitled, “1986 Federal Court Opinion Regarding Salvage Rights at the Coffins Patch Reef”. A second printing (not stated) of the paperback edition includes a dust jacket (identical to the dust jacket on the hardback edition) and the inserted pamphlet, “1986 Federal Court Opinion Regarding Salvage Rights at the Coffins Patch Reef”.
Description: This book tells of the author’s discovery and salvage of several 1733 Fleet Spanish galleon wrecks in the upper Keys of Florida. The author successfully salvaged a hoard of silver bars from one of the ships, the “Tres Puentes”.  One of the “Top 75 Books”.
