Description: This book is a very well written overview of the sinking and salvage of 17 ships that sank between 1900 and 1999 with treasure aboard. It includes the “Laurentic”, “HMS Edinburgh”, “USS John Barry”, “Awa Maru”, Rommel’s gold that was sunk during WWII off the coast of Corsica, and the I-52 Japanese submarine. The author is the son of one of the former principals of the famous UK salvage company, Risdon Beazley Ltd.  One of the “Top 75 Books”.
