Description: The original book was a pictorial description of a technology Jacob Rowe developed for salvaging sunken ships in the 1700s. The facsimile edition includes a biography of Jacob Rowe and his many exploits salvaging sunken treasure, including his success in salvaging 33 tons of silver from the “Vansittart” off the Cape Verde Islands with John Lethbridge in 1720. Additionally, Jacob Rowe salvaged treasure from the Spanish Armada ships, “El Gran Grifon” and “San Juan de Sicilia”, as well as the “Adelaar”.
