Description: In 1660 a Spanish king’s messenger ship, laden with treasures from the new world, was lost in a place called “Jeaga” (now Jupiter-by-the-Sea, Florida). This is the story of the finding and early salvage effort of the “San Miguel de Archangel” in 10 feet of water. The wreck is still being salvaged as of January, 2002, and the author has promised updates to the book.
